Registration and Visiting Information

Registration Form: For those of you planning to attend the symposium, please fill out the Registration Form by April 1, 2011. To download the Lithium Symposium Registration Form (in MS Word format) follow the link: Lithium Symposium Registration Form.

Registration fee: There is no registration fee for the symposium since the symposium is held at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory where experimental and theoretical research on lithium applications for fusion devices is an important mission element of the laboratory.

Symposium Banquet: A symposium banquet will be held in the evening of April 27, 2011. For those who are planning to attend the banquet, the cost of the meal (estimated to be around $40) will be collected in cash at the registration desk.

Foreign National Registration Form: PPPL is obliged to comply with the U.S. Department of Energy regulations for persons visiting the site who are not citizens of the United States of America. Anyone planning to attend the symposium who is NOT a U.S. citizen, should visit the foreign national registration secure website to register: https://fnvisit.pppl.gov/fnregister.aspx.
Please enter Masayuki Ono as the PPPL Host. Unless approval is received prior to visiting PPPL, non-citizens could be denied access to PPPL. If you are a U.S. citizen, you do NOT need to complete this form.

Access to PPPL: At the PPPL gate, each day, all visitors will be asked to show a government issued picture ID (i.e., your passport or a US photo ID driver license.)

Poster Instruction: Poster boards will be available throughout the symposium. The presenters are asked to post their presentations on the poster board at the beginning of the symposium. The poster board is 4’ (1.2m) high x 8’ (2.4m) wide. A dedicated poster session is planned in the afternoon of April 29, 2011 (Contact: rkaita@pppl.gov).

Publication: A special issue of papers accompanying the conference presentations may be published in Fusion Engineering and Design subject to the usual refereeing requirements. The manuscript of submissions is due at the conference. Please submit the manuscript in the formats acceptable to the journal by e-mail to mono@pppl.gov.

More information on visiting PPPL, including directions, parking information and security requirements, is available on the PPPL website: http://www.pppl.gov/visiting.cfm
